Has Anybody got a spare Brown/Dark Grey Focus/Intensity Knob for a T.Q. D1000 series Oscilloscope, part no. 336–1787–00, Item no. 54 in the Mechanical View Diagram please?
The model I have needing one is a D1016A by the way! I haven't looked at the long shaft, item no. 57 "Extension Shaft" p/n 384–1536–01 yet, but it feels like its all there! I have a Tektronix 468 carcass in my bedroom with a couple of long shafts and a coupler, can I use one of these in the T.Q. D1016A? (How do people managed to shear these off? – this is the second time a request for one of these has had to be posted on here, another Member needed one last year!) Any reasonable price and postage reimbursed! Chris Williams

Have you a pic Chris? I've looked online for a pic of a TQ D1000 but only get Tek DS1000 hits.
Andy.

Thanks Chris, what's the diameter of the focus knob which I presume is the same as the intensity? They look grey to me not brown.
Andy.

Evening Andy!
You're quite correct, the knob I need is grey, not light brown! I'll measure it and post the details in the morning! Chris Williams

Hi Chris, still waiting for dimensions, however I've looked in my Tek/TQ stash of knobs & the only grey ones I have are diddy jobbies about 6mm across, however if your not fussed about the colour I'm sure I have some red ones that will fit, you could alus paint it grey.
I need shaft size etc as well as diameter & H. Andy.

Hi Chris
You could try sending a PM to Restoration73 re. requesting the knob you require. He may still have some. My effort at repairing the broken shaft and replacing the intensity knob on a Telequipment D1016A is detailed here. https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...00&postcount=1 Here are a couple of pictures of the knob.
