Murphy U504 restoration request - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi all,

As per my other thread from yesterday I have liberated a Murphy U504 from the loft and would like to find somebody who can give it the once over and hopefully get it back up and running again. If it can be modded to somehow gain connectivity with a Smartphone then even better. Somebody just mentioned potentially installing a Bluetooth module within the unit?

I am based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. It would be great to hear from anybody who may be able to assist.

I would be pleased to restore this set for you, but you would need to send it in as I am quite a distance.

Hi - I could have a look at this for you as I live in Burntwood, however it may not be for a few weeks. So Michael's offer is probably your best bet at the moment.
