I'd like to say bye to bad packing too, but I suspect it'll always exist.

There's a DAC10 currently listed for spares which has an intact back.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134664559...=&toolid=10050 You might feel disinclined to risk more expense and possible damage, but you might like to view it. (The front part of the case is smashed and the dial is missing, which might be why the lack of interest. If you bid for it and won it, you could ask the seller to pack the back separately from the chassis I guess). I have no connection with the listing.
