Hello.

My first restoration.

I have a Portadyne AG70. I am looking for a circuit diagram for. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome Alan,

Portadyne around the late '40s made quite a few radiograms and radios using very similar and fairly basic chassis, but there's not much information to be had on any of them. It looks as though yours is much the same or exactly the same as the CG68, but we drew a blank there a couple of years ago:

i am trying to locate a circuit diagram for an portadyne ag70 radiogram

i see there a at least 2 listed here however i am unsure how to identify the chassis number

i would appreciate some advise

hopefully i have listed a few pictures that may help

Hi. That looks the same as one I have. I couldn't locate a circuit either. I have lots of photos of mine taken during restoration if there of any use to you. Colin

Congratulations on this beautiful Portadyne Alan, unfortunately there is little information available about the Portadyne brand and associated diagrams. I have noticed that there are many similarities in the schematics of various Portadyne pre-war types. Fortunately, they are fairly simple and simply put together radios. In the Portadyne A52 that I am restoring (also without diagram), I have replaced all Sator capacitors and the electrolytic capacitors on the deck. Good luck with this project.
