Hakko 700C help
Hi all. I have a Hakko 700C thats stopped sensing temp. It fell off a shelf, broke the element in the soldering iron. I swapped the element out and now it's not sensing temp.
Any ideas would be great thanks. David |

Re: Hakko 700c help
The instructions say that you should be able to measure around 43 to 58 ohms for the sensor between pins 1 & 2 of the soldering iron connector (from page 11 of this manual);
http://www.dancap.co.uk/Discontinued/700C.pdf Is it just the iron that fell off the shelf or the whole station? David |

Re: Hakko 700c help
Thanks David , it was actually the whole ****** shelf that fell off that wall ..haha .. However , I have got it sorted now . Its was a duff element , luckily I bought three . The second one I put in worked ok . They are cheap Chinese elements , I`ve been using them for years now and thats the first one I`ve had that has given me any problems so it`s not so bad. Was just the falling shelf incident that put my mind on a "oh no" path.lol .
This is by far the best Iron I`ve had , I`ve had it about 12 years now and its been brilliant . So I would be devastated if it was to break . You know what its like trying to solder with a different iron , just feels wrong doesnt it .lol . Many thanks for the manual ! appreciated . Dave |
