Pye T7 dial lamps
Does anyone know the voltage and current ratings for the dial lamps used in the Pye T7?
Remarkably this information is not in the manufacturer's service manual. They are MES with the large size glass envelope. They run from a separate 2 volt winding on the mains transformer so my guess is they are 2.5 volt types. The markings on the lamps are unreadable. |

Re: Pye T7 dial lamps
Sorry Sam, I didn't make myself clear. I'm not trying to source suitable replacements. I have two good bulbs that I have saved (among other things) from a basket case T7 that I have scrapped. I wanted to know their ratings so that I can mark up what they are.

Hi ukcol
The Broadcaster sheet seems to suggest 6.2V bulbs See attached snip. Cheers Mike T
