Leak RC/PAU component values?
Has anyone got a list of components for this pre-amp? I have the circuit diagram but this is marked just as R1, R2,C1 etc. There looks to be a number of high value Rs , 5 & 10Megohm and a lot of similar looking mica caps. The valve is an ECC40. trying to work out which component the numbers refer to is quite difficult especially round the wafer switches.thanks

Re: Leak RC/PAU component values?
Stephen Spicer's book, Firsts in High Fidelity, which I regard as the authoritative source for all things Leak, has the circuit of the RC/PA/U in it with component values added. But I note that the version on Stephen's website here http://www.44bx.com/leak/Leak/Circuits/RCPAU.gif is the one without the values. This is unusual and I wonder if there might be a copyright issue.
I'd recommend buying the book (I'd recommend it anyway, even if you didn't need the component values) but unfortunately it seems it's out of print and it's a long time since I saw a second-hand one available, at least at an affordable price. I do have a copy, but given the issues I'm not inclined to post a scan on a universal-access website like this. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to contact Stephen ? He's been a member of this forum, so a PM might reach him, but unfortunately I can't recall his username (maybe the mods could help ?). Cheers, GJ
