Resistor value?
Hello everyone.
Could anyone identify this resistor as one of the connecting wires is broken It's the round one with the orange stripe going across it. There are 3 in this amp and one of them is connected to the pilot light Many thanks, Ben. |

Re: Resistor
I'm not sure that is a resistor. It would help if the picture was in focus. If your camera has a macro setting use this.
If there are three of these in the amp, can you measure a good one? What make and model is the amp?

Re: Resistor value?
It looks very much like an NTC thermistor used in the bias arrangements for the output transistors.
A clearer photograph would help. Are you certain the one in the pilot light has the same colour code? AFAIK, the colour code refers to the Mullard part number rather than the actual resistance. |

Re: Resistor value?
Hi
Its an alba 452 stereo record player It works fine on one channel ( sounds great in fact) but as soon as you connect the speaker for the right channel then all you get is a loud screeching sound! Ben |
