Default WS No 19 mk111 Canadian

Hi
Although my 19 set works very well the meter when switched to AVC now takes about 5 minutes to show a reading. Any ideas on what to look for?

Anything from a noisy switch to a res gone high or a cap on AVC line and I presume all other meter functions are fine.

Hi
Checking the meter again today reveals that the other switched positions have no readings although the AVC eventually does.

Could be sticky meter, try a tap on it and see if it is indeed sticking.

Just an observation, if its like the MK11 both sides of the meter are switched. The negative side relies on one wafer for all but the Ae position. If nothing else appears wrong perhaps some switch cleaner in this area might help?

Hi
Replacing an open circuit 1.2m r on the meter panel has restored the meter operations.
