Hi Steve.

Afraid I can't be of much help, but I suspect your machine's a TK5 - just about all the old Grundig recorders begin with TK. You'll find quite a few online references to the model.

If you HAVE the 3 buttons, it will be a TK5 or TK8...the TK8 has an extended frontal area, with 3 grille slots in it forward of the 3 buttons. It also has 3 speakers, and 2 speeds, 3.375 and 7.5 IPS.
If you do NOT have the 3 buttons, it will be a TK 20, 24 or 25....the TK20 is single speed, half track. The TK 24 is single speed 4 track, and the TK25 is 2-speed, 1.875 and 3.375 IPS, half track.
Hope this helps!
I have SOME spares...praivate mail me when you know what you want, I may be able to help.

Sorry - 3 button clarification:
On the TK5 and TK8, the 3 buttons are about 1 " square and forward of the head area. On the TK 2* series they are 3 round buttons to the right of the volume/tone control knobs.
PS In this and my previous post, by " forward " I mean towards you, when you are standing in front (i.e. in the " normal " stance) of the machine!
