Re: Cassette Recorders
Does anyone know of a Crown Compact Cassette Recorder with piano keys from the late 60's. I had one of these but cant remember the model number.
Thanks Mike |

Re: Cassette Recorders
It was none of those Crown recorders, my one was slightly bigger than the classic Philips style same sort of shape though, with white piano keys and one red key for record, and body was black in colour.
Thanks Mike |

Re: Cassette Recorders
Cant see it on Google images or in r-morg.
It was similar to this one with same style keys, but was not 2 tone body and the volume and tone controls dont look familiar, I think there were rotary rather than edge, and it was battery only, (4 x C cell) Mike |

Re: Cassette Recorders
I've done the shoebox recorder held up to the clock radio back in the day. And yes, that's always the time the parents choose to yell at you from the other end of the house for some misdeed...

Re: Cassette Recorders
I have a late 60s Grundig sl200 cassette recorder with a rotary control on it. The sound recently has gone quiet on it though. It did sound very good before.
