Marconi transmitter photograph identity? - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

I bought this photo (1) from eBay because I was interested in the way the installed equipment was ventilated, both at the bottom of the rack and part way up the bays.

Two questions

Does anyone know were this picture was taken?

Has anyone got any of these ventilation parts? (2) or for that matter any similar equipment pictured.

I seek these as I am recreating a valve 405 line 19" bay area see photo 3. I also need a quantity of vintage 0BA chrome dome head bolts and the matching BBC style washers with the slightly beveled edges. (m6 bolts are not the correct vintage ones)

There is equipment from Marconi, Pye, RCA and EMI in the bays.

Much to be done.....

I've forwarded your enquiry on to a group of ex-broadcast transmission folks with whom I socialise (we try to meet up every month) - if anything comes up, I'll let you know.
The floor tiles in (3) reminded me of the UHF hall at Crystal Palace but that was back in 1981 and probably well after the time period covered by your picture!

The scope in the background looks like a Tektronix 524AD judging by the front panel. That model was introduced in 1953.

For a year or two some time ago, someone was offering countless photos of the Marconi station at Point Reyes (California- the US state, not the Norfolk village) on eBay- maybe it's one of these? That might vaguely tie up with a Tek 'scope....,
