Default BVWS Bulletin

My Summer edition of the Bulletin has arrived safely this morning. A quick glance through it looks as interesting and well produced as ever. Well done to all involved.

Mine arrived today, up to the usual excellent standard. I have one question, why did the late Dennis Yates get expelled?

Default Bletchley park saga

I was contemplating offering my newly acquired AR77 to Bletchley Park. I know that there are many 'personalities' there, but was wondering what the "Bletchley Park Saga" referred to on page 55 of today's bulletin was all about.
Does the BVWS have a problem with them?
David

On a different tack, I dare say that the PIC driven FM/AM converter prject on page 24, featuring the cheap RDA5807M FM receiver module (cheap as in £2.19 for two post free from a UK supplier), will cause a fluttering in the dovecote when some members get around to reading it! Time will tell.

A nice mix of varied projects in the Bulletin, as always.

Hi,
my copy arrived safely yesterday while I was in Dulwich. I have just looked at the datasheet for the ic mentioned in the above post. seems it could give a stereo output.
if only I could write code then I think it would be possible to make a small unit with up / down tuning buttons or even a rotary encoder ? and an indication of the received frequency.

Mine arrived yesterday too. It's waiting to be read in my new home, but a quick flick through suggests it has some very interesting articles as usual.
