Default Pionier type U2 Polish radio

I have the radio working, looks like the cores have moved in the IF cans. I can't seem to find the IF freq on the net, any body know?

Mick.

According to https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pion...adioodbiornik) its long wave band finishes at 429kHz and medium wave starts at 525kHz, so the IF is probably half way between those two points or somewhere nearby - I'd start with 465kHz and see how it tracks.

Just found another page by searching for 'Pionier U2 dane techniczne' which states 465kHz is the IF:

Cheers for that Chris , I have it at 470 khz but noticed that one slug bottoms out, just checked the 200pf capacitors across the coils they seem to be ok I think I need to have a play with a pre set cap. Mick.
