Default A good stretch ?

Hi All
Does anyone have any tips on stretching speaker cloth ?
I have a very nice "Dinatron tp12 Linnet" table radio that is let down by this problem. I dont want to tackle it without some advice.

Yes it is.
I did not want to pull it just in case i pull some of the threads. I was wondering if i could wet it first.

It is attached to the baffle. I have tried to pull it, but it is to tight. this is why i was wondering if wetting or steaming would help. I will have a go at it this weekend.

what is it made of? cloth or plastic weave ? plastic may stretch if heated with hairdryer or electric fan heater .If its silk type it may tear .can it be totally removed from baffle?

The baffle will come out, albeit not that easy. The chassis has to come out first. I think (not to sure) it is a cloth speaker covering, but it does have a sheen to it. The radio was made in 1960. I will have a go at it the weekend.
