BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
For the past few months I,ve been neglecting my radios somewhat, as I,ve been busy restoring the beast you can see here in my avatar. I think I may have allowed my subscriptions to lapse. Can anyone tell me what the latest editions of the Bulletin and Radiophile are please? Steve.

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Hi Steve, The last Bulletin was Vol 32 no 2, Summer 2007, The last Radiophile was no 109, Spring 2007. Hope that helps.
Regards, Mick. |

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Having just got back to a pile of unread mags in Rammy this info is invaluable.
I didn't know whether the Summer Radiophile was late or my subs had gone adrift! I take it that no one has had that edition yet? This is in no way a complaint as [like the BVWS journal] the Radiophile is always well worth waiting for. Dave |

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Well, now it's nearly Autumn, the Summer edition of the Radiophile must be due out very soon...

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
I haven't got summer Radiophile yet, so that's probably OK, as I'm up to date.

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Radiophile was going to the printers at the end of last week - should be with us soon

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Thanks all and particularly Sean. As I said before, just checking not complaining [I know that problems do arise!]. Dave

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
The Bulletin will be posted during the coming week, so if The Radiophile is also imminent, we should have a dangerous overload of pleasure to look forward to!

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Just received the Bulletin yesterday, and there is a very absorbing article by Howard about sets from the communist era - well done!

Re: BVWS bulletin and the Radiophile
Might be my imagination but this one even smells good! Like the inside of a
well kept Radiogram or Display Cabinet! Must be the printers ink. There is a nice congruity between the Ian Liston-Smith building a TV22 from scratch item and Andi Blounts Xmas [Radiophile] article on restoring a wrecked one- as a cheap option- which I've only just read! Dave |
