Many thanks to terrybull for sending an interesting excerpt from a book dealing with the introduction of radar and for the speed in which he did so.

Default Smiths Sectric Clock

Big thanks to Mike Phelan for fixing our Smiths Sectric Clock. It’s back on the wall and still running fine.

Also thanks to Mike Barker for fixing the coil.

Hi!

My grateful thanks to Dave McMahon & Steve for taking the trouble to send me CD1400 Pictures and the CX1571 pages, plus all the RIAA Preamplifier design and theory information!

I am using the CD1400 information provided by Dave to make a new "Early Versions" Supplement Booklet that will be uploaded when completed – I've begun work on revised circuit diagrams to cover the differences found by Dave, compared to the standard units!

Hi,

I just wanted to say thanks to Ed Dinning. He collected and dropped off some stuff from me yesterday, and had chance to have a chat in person. Generous, helpful and interesting chap who I think embodies the spirit of this forum!

Thanks Ed.

My thanks to Syrinx, Woodchops and Andiit for retaining stuff for me during the lockdown.
Quite a long trip on Mon, but met some nice people and well worth it

Thanks to all participating in this thread, the disposal of assorted redundant kit from "Woodchips". Although Bob had given us the stuff FOC, I decided to request a small charity donation for each item to ensure that those bidding genuinely wanted/needed the stuff.

Thanks to your generosity (and Bob's!), the Salvation Army is now better off to the tune of £47.00.

Many thanks to John C. (John M0GLN) for digging out and photographing a very useful (and hard to find) exploded diagram of the UA15 autochanger. And within hours of my asking too

Nick.

Many thanks to Bill (AC/HL) for sending me two original Mullard diodes FOC, just the job.

Also Bill did not want to be reimbursed for the cost of postage, so according to his wishes I have made a small donation to our local water rescue charity.
