My bit was a only small part in the success story, it was great to see the good outcome where a joint problem solving approach won the day.

A big thank you to kalee20 for emailing me photos that have helped me identify a missing piece on my vintage sewing machine case. Now I know what the piece looks like I think I remember removing it many years ago, just now need to try and find it.

A big thanks to Bruce M0SOE, for posting the 12BY7A out to me.
And also the highly informed replies from other forum members, it never ceases to amaze me, the amount of in depth technical knowledge on here.
Ken G6HZG.
PS. Bruce I have sent you a PM about the postage.

Never received the PM but don't worry about it. The postage won't break me, just hope the set is back on the air.

Thanks to ScottBouch for the multi way audio gear connector for my RACAL Squadcal radio, which arrived today.

I am sure I can rework it to take a suitable drop cable to connect with the Clansman pressel box I have here.

. . .My grateful thanks to "Dazzle vision" Dave for lovely copies of the Thorn "Synchro–Amp" info – my friend Mike Smith gave me one of these in a bag of goodies and it was dead when I tried it – I can find out why now!

. . .Can be closed now as Solved Mods!

Huge, and slightly belated thanks, to Glyn (Welsh Anorak) for generous advice and guidance in repairs to a couple of not-so-old tellies. One of the great chaps on here!

A very big thank-you to the following kind members….

MartiR2R for the ESR meter, very useful since it measures in-circuit.
Gw0udmgw for the DVD player to keep the grandkids occupied during trips.
Welsh Anorak for the valve amp to keep my existing one company in stereo.
Wendymott for the data drives to give an old laptop a new lease of life.
Dazzlevision for the TA01 data unavailable anywhere else.

Thanks you once again!

A big thankyou to Peter (pmmunro) for the FOC Bosch Battery Power Drill, which safely arrived on Monday.

Hoping to get this working with good rechargeable battery from my dead Bosch drill.

Many thanks to Martin (martiR2R) who generously sent me the spools of enamelled copper wire. All received safely and well packed. The wire will be very useful for my radio related projects.

Best regards,
Symon
