Default Wiring codes?

I am about to restore a Philips 727A and would like to keep any replacement wiring as original looking as possible.
Would like help as to what the 2 figure numbers mean for the type of wire I may buy. ie. 13/0.2 Bardwells of Doncaster use this coding and are a likely supplier. John.

This code shows the number of strands/strand diameter, so 13/0.2 consists of 13 strands 0.2" diameter.

This info was taken from Radio, Television and Electical Repairs, published by Odhams.

Oh yes, that would be more likely. I will put that down to a lack of thought and try and blame a long day at work...
