Default BSR Turntable-Ferguson Auto Unit

Hi

I've recently acquired a BSR Turntable-Ferguson Auto Unit. It needs a new Cartridge, but I've got no idea which one I need, particularly as I can't see a model number anywhere!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Al

Need the model number of the unit but this looks like a Sonotone 3509 clip. Or at least a photo taken from the front of the unit.

Or, it might be the rather narrow cartridge that came after the BSR SC series. Ferguson did use them, called an X series? I think there was an BSR X1 and X3. Edward

It does, but most of these had BSR SC12-somethings, I think.

I had one of these Fergusons. It came with a Sonotone 3509 cartridge, and I am almost certain that is the clip for one. My friend also bought one a bit later, and his came with a BSR SC-12H. Provided the cartridge comes with a clip, either one should be suitable.

That's a Sonotone mount. You need a 3509 or 3559. See pic attached, the thin bracket is pictured.

That cart was fitted to several Ferguson, GEC and Ultra models of the period.
