Dynamo torch Swiss.
Picked up a “Lucifer” hand pump dyno torch, Swiss made by Brev and Divers, last patent on case is for 1927.
Very well built, can see where Rolls Razor got their idea from now for there hand pump dry shaver of late 1930’s. Torch was a bit “Iffy” when I got it, slipped out of gear when hand pumping, I took it apart and found one of the teeth than engages the drive wheel wasn’t moving in and out as it should, so I bought a rough one on Spitalfields used it for spares I replaced that, and so now, all working fine. And idea of age? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Dynamo torch Swiss.
Photo?
I have a hand pump torch from the 1980's, uses a 1.25V bulb. But these days I can imagine a much brighter one could b made with LED's, obviously with a rectifier (or just twin LED's in inverse parallel). |
