Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
I can hardly see the blue markings let alone read the capacitor values, maybe a good photo of the capacitors would help.

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
Have now found more readable documentation for the G209.
For the 2 blue marked capacitors at the 6AQ5 (V12) valve, pin 5 (anode) = .01 (so assume 0.01uF), pin 7 (Control Grid internally connected to pin 1) = 100uuF (connected down to ground) so believe this will be 100pF. Capacitor voltage ratings/type not listed. I think you show a third blue marked capacitor below the other 2, still to work this one out. David |

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
thanks to all who reply, the pic has bin resized by the forum here i think,
all the caps are for the 6aq5 and around, there was an atempt to replace the 6aq5 by el84 but never finished, a lot of wires hanging loose or removed, so i choose to install a 6aq5 back , lots of info and a nice wiring diagram , but some values are overprinted, thanks to david for the info sofar. |

Hi Carlos,
There is a full manual for the G209 at BAMA Archive, and although it is in Italian, there is an excellent schematic with all values marked. http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/geloso/g209/ Kind regards Dave G0ELJ |

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
There also is a manul at electrotanya (Italian and English for the main text).
I am struggling with the third blue marked capacitor, the component layout drawing is very difficult to follow for this component. It looks like it connects to the bottom of the 0.01uF capacitor, but on the schematic there appears to be no capacitor connected there, although there are several resistors connected to this point. Can you confirm the third blue marked component is actually a capacitor, on the component layout drawing it possibly looks like it ends with a k so maybe a resistor, a photo would help to clarify. Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
I'm looking at a manual downloaded from the BAMA site and also Elektrotanya, I can't see any components marked blue or any blue arrows....Only wires labeled Bleu

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
No, that's because I set the arrows there in blue.

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
Yes you added (marked up) the blue arrows to point to the capacitors in question.

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
I can only just make them out if I tilt my PC screen back....There's four components with five arrows is that correct? They're not very well defined on my PC screen at all.

The one in question for me is the component where its bottom end connects through to terminal 1 of the loudspeaker out connector, which I think is a resistor, were you asking about that component ? David |

Re: Geloso G209 caps unknown.
david, you have stated the 2 capacitors on the 6aq5,
the small one with the 100 printing(i think) is connected fron pin 7 to to the 6aq5 midle grounding tap, the second 350v cap is connected from pin 6 6aq5 to the grounding lug of the 7 pins small connection board on the right from the 6aq5, the other are resistors for sure, they are connected to the small 5 pins connection board to the right oft the trafo 321/2,5 mark on it, one resistor has nero written over it, the other marked with to blue arrows has the black wiring over it , so not readable |

Carlos, just to be clear, do you need help with any of these resistor values ?
