Default Gauers 6521 Information Please

I have a working example of this radio but in the process of attempting some adjustment the cord driving the tuning from the VHF tuning knob has become detached.

Can anyone tell me the correct winding arrangements for the cord, please?

Alternatively, has anyone an example for sale which I could use as a pattern?

Cheers,

John

Default 6521 Airband Receiver

I'd be very grateful for some help with re-connecting the tuning cords on my 6521 which otherwise works well - a very nice set.

Is there any chance of a diagram or some instructions, please?

All the best,

John

Apparently it's a modified Minerva Perfect 642, you can download a service manual from radiomuseum.org, it includes a dial stringing diagram but it's not very clear.

Forum member Squipper mentioned he has a Gauers 6521, and has successfully restrung it, post #12 here

You could send him a PM.
