Yaesu Fr-50b
Morning, any advice, before i switch on my Yaesu Fr-50b, dry stored a few years, in nice condiction.

You could run up through a Variac or lamp limiter.

Yes i have a lamp limiter, dont want to make the same mistake i made a while back so ken to see if my R1155 worked just pluged it in, get smoke, i check around before applying power, i see they do capacitor replacement kits for some models, i will study the diagram then have a good look cheers,
