Default 1925 S G Brown H1 horn loudspeaker.

After hours and hours of rubbing down, primer, rubbing down, primer and polishing she's done. I could have repainted the brass and aluminium but after taking them down to metal I think they look good as they are and will fit into the more modern 'brighter' house of today. Inside there is a stamp saying 22 July 1925, that's sorted the date out.

For a before picture see https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=65735 post 6.

That is a thing of beauty!

I thought the polishing job I was doing on an Ekco U122 was hard work - that looks like a life sentence!

Brilliant job, always nice to bring a wreck back from the grave. I know how much hard work it is too, I did a Sparta a while back.

I found this great picture for horn fans http://www.historyofpa.co.uk/pages/cw_crystal.htm

It did take a few sheets of wet and dry! The worst bit was during the last primer coat of the horn the missus said I had a 'phone call and disturbed my attention, more rubbing down.
