Good day to all,
Dispersal of the collection of a lifelong friend of radio, Edmond Codechèvre. Items are centered around the 1915-1930 early days of radio + an extensive number of military communications gear. Taking place in a Paris suburb on december 3rd 2022. Online catalogue with photos of the lots: https://www.interencheres.com/meuble...a-2000-600147/ No ties to the collection, its owner (deceased) or the auction house. Best Regards jhalphen Paris/France |

Wow seconded!
There's an R1155 towards the end and what look to be some German military radios. The R1155 looks not to have been mutilated to the usual extent. David

There are two E52's and a DST100.
The collector knew his stuff. |

Not to mention the clandestine radios, the American 109 plus burst morse code set, the British steam powered generator, some very hard to find items, some really nice early Christmas presents for someone.

Quite a variety in this fantastic collection, from WW1 to transistor sets. Lots of early French sets, military sets, post-war Soviet block sets etc. Estimates on some things very low and some items origins seem misidentified.

I actually bought something at this auction - but it was hard work.
The prices for the very early radios were huge, up to ~£8000. Their estimates were miles out! But things went the other way with the soviet military gear - lots of unsold items. |

What about the DST100? I used to have one of those [post 4*]. I'd looked on the listing but for some reason couldn't find it

Good day Gentlemen,
Cliff2903's link is to a new & different auction, indeed vintage hi-fi. Interencheres is an aggregation site for many auctions in France. About the Edmond Codechèvre auction of a few days ago, i am hoping to be able to post a link when/if the final sales prices are posted. Some of our French forum members purchased items there, so there is keen interest to learn what the market value is. This OTHER sale for vintage radio & some TVs takes place on Dec 13th by a Chârtres auction house. They do this sale twice every year, June & December. 134 items this time. No ties of course : https://www.interencheres.com/meuble...niques-313278/ Best Regards jhalphen Paris/France Last edited by jhalphen; 8th Dec 2022 at 1:04 am. |
