Default Collaro RC500

Can anyone tell me how to remove the turntable from this deck?

With the later and more classy 4T100 you had to exert some upward pressure on the platter while tapping the spindle smartly (but not too hard) with something like a hammer - that looks earlier and probably pressed steel - but if you can't see a circlip retainer under the mat.....might be worth a try.

Success. Had to unscrew the spindle, although it took a lot of force and I was nervous about damaging it.
