Default Great Transistor Radio Site!

This is my buddy Alan Kastner's site, RadioWallah. He is a Canadian collector and historian who has lived in Japan for 20 odd years. He has many beautiful and rare radios from the 1950's in his collection and it is well worth a look!

Wonderful site! Take a look at the handwired aluminium circuit board of the Zenith Royal 500 http://tabiwallah.com/radiowallah/zenith/zen500md.html - amazing!

They really are nice examples of early mainly Japanese pocket radios, gosh. The Sony TFM-151 I see is in there, an early AM/FM transistor radio made in 1958 !
