Re: Sony KV-1330 tv
The first thing would be to clean all the controls not the tuner with switch cleaner.
If you are not familiar with these sets best left to expert they are quite complex Also could deliver quite a nasty shock if you are not use to servicing Mark. |

Re: Sony KV-1330 tv
I agree with GEC2110, the trick, having unplugged the set, is to remove the outer wooden case from the chassis. This will give you access to the controls.
The thing is, it isn't just a matter of unscrewing specific screws on the plastic back. There are 2 underneath as well. As far as I remember, the SONY KV1320 Mk2 is the same as the KV1330. If so, Google SONY KV-1320 MK11, you will see the Vrat heading. Open the topic. Click on the photo of the TV and you will see the insides of your set, the back and fixing screws. As GEC2110 said, should you be unfamiliar with servicing do seek a local BVWS member's help. These Sony's are very good but need TLC when handling as there are lots of soldered wires which can break off easily with few plugs and sockets when removing parts or panels for servicing. Chris |
