Upon receiving a notification email regarding a new PM in the forum, it then takes a further six clicks to see that message. Could it not be configured to be a quicker process? Maybe even go straight to it, or one step before that?

Mine doesn't go there due pop-up blocker.
I click the link near too right in order to read it.

I normally just close the notification box and click on 'private messages' underneath the 'Welcome, myusername' banner in the far upper right corner.

Takes me two clicks Steve - cancel pop up box, click PM's as Sirius says.

I get that, I'm saying if your start point is that email notification in your own email inbox.

We are limited by how the forum software works. I can't change that.

As I have mentioned before, I am planning to migrate to more modern software at some point. It is not a priority though.

Thanks Paul. I mean, it was never a big deal for me, the difference time wise is a couple of seconds, but it just got me thinking that there had to be a quicker, more direct route than six clicks to get to a forum message from my emails.

Thread can be closed as far as I'm concerned. Thanks.
