Default Vintage valve valuation

My dad started business in 1946 supplying and repairing radio's then TV's. The world then was his oyster. I carried on the business until retiring on February last year. I brought two suitcases (Mullard!!) And two boxes of old valves back with me.
I have been scouring the net looking for possible values and find it a money field. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to disposal.
There are also some there that I cannot find any information on.

Hello and welcome.
I started life itself in 1946, and agree, the industry in earlier times was good. To help, we'll need to know the valve types. As you've found the values vary a lot, the privileged few can be worth a fair sum, others not so much.

A few of these are worth quite a bit. KT66, EM81, PX4, for instance. eBay is best bet, but take several good clear photos, one showing the box. It wasn't unknown for servicemen to replace a valve, and pop the weak, but still working, old valve in the box as a 'second-class spare'. They knew what was in there, but you don't! However, clear photos will enable a bidder to tell, hopefully.
