Bush DAC 90A scale light bulbs and rubber channels
I have just finished restoring a Dac 90A for a friend and substituted the dial light bulbs with LEDs and the crumbling rubber channel with bicycle inner tube.
I have cut off the glass from the blown bulbs and soldered a diode and LED (mellow white) on the base of the old bulb. For the dial rubber channel I cut a strip about 3mm wide along the edge of the rubber tube and replaced the crumbled channel and it looks fine. Hope it helps. Aldo |

Nice work there, I have one on the 'to do' pile and will go down the led route, for the scale I bought an expensive one off the greek guy who kindly supplied some rubber channel.

for the rubber channel I have, in the past, stripped the copper cable from a length of 2.5mm wiring cable - used a Stanley knife to cut lengthways, then just used the covering for the dial glass - worked a treat and didn't cost me anything, just a scrap bit of cable. Like the idea of bike inner tube as well
