Default Lead-Acid Battery Leaflet

Following a chuckle that I had recently concerning a recent posting of strange English, I came across this leaflet and just had to share it with you.

It's from a recently purchased 6V lead-acid battery for a motorcycle.

I've scanned in the front cover page and (significantly) the last page commencing
5. Maintenance.

I nearly choked on my tea when I got to:-

‘... un-loud in voice of speaker’
‘...charge until the battery gives off steam you see’ and
‘...plenty of fresh water of cattle breast’

An absolute gem!

Mind you, my translation from English to Chinese leaves a lot to be desired and at least it can be understood, so please keep them coming .. excellent stuff.

Default Re: Lead-Acid Battery Leaflet

What a wonderful synonym for good old cow juice

Presumably full cream or Jersey would be best.
