Default NVCF list and Gerry Wells' museum

Yes, I know it is a bit previous, but I am off-list for a week (who was that who said "thank goodness"? ) and going outside the Tripe Curtain down to London. I have arranged to go to Gerry Wells on Monday - will report back.

Back to the NVCF and my usual list:

Taking:
Ekco A22 for Colin (Ekcobeach)
Ultrasonic cleaner for Jeffrey (pppppppenguin)
Collecting:
Nothing yet!

Possibly giving a lift to TimS; if not, anyone else is welcome to come for the ride, if you can get to Phelan Towers earlyish. Life insurance essential.

Speak to you next Friday.

Hi Mike, If there's room in your car I will finally be able to collect that McMichael console set . If you're coming in the DS I am tempted to travel to Yorkshire before it starts to save the embarrasment of arriving in our Renault Megane again! So far I'm going to be collecting a McMichael TV off Sean and possibly that console from you! Josh.

Assuming I am going to the NVCF (which I should be), I will be bringing my IBM PC AT for Dave Moll.

Josh
Let me know and I will see what can be sorted; if anything is to be taken down to the do by me, it will have to be brought to my house; unfortunately I have no spare time between now and then, including sorting a (slight) fuelling problem on the DS. Good job my AVO 8 does not need dusting off!

Phil
Will do, if TimS does not go.

I will be starting a new thread regarding my (amazing) visit to Gerry Wells.

Look forward to seeing that thread Mike. I have a tape deck to collect from someone living on the edge of Brixton who was amazed to discover [cause I mentioned it] the museum and that it was so close. I've not been myself [yet] but I did meet Mr W at Shifnal once. What a nice bloke. Dave

Hi,

Sean, Mike - don't worry about the CRTs, I'll collect (and pack) them myself in due course, they're not urgently needed as the likely recipient is in bits.

Cheers, Kat

Hello

I shall be at the NVCF and I'm bringing with me ...

1: B&O television, stand and literature for Mikeymushradio
2: Philips 642A radio for maitiustandun
3: Philips tape recorder for Dave Moll

If anyone's coming from/through York I have a little German Philetta bakelite AM/FM valve radio there which I'm not happy about being sent by post. I'd be exceedingly grateful if someone is coming that way to the NVCF could collect it and bring it down with them to the NVCF.

Howard

Howard
I won't have time to go to York this week unfortunately, but if anyone can get it to me (M62 J26 2 miles) before Sunday, I will gladly take it down for you if all else fails. If not, I could probably pick it up from York in a couple of weeks if that is any good.

I am definitely going (house move is delayed a bit), so will be bringing this for Dave.

I have a few other bits and pieces which I will sort out tomorrow and offer tomorrow evening - hopefully I can get rid of them too.

Hello Mike,

It's very kind of you to offer.

Someone has offered to collect it for me now, who will be going through York in the near future, although not necessarily this week, so fingers crossed.

See you Sunday.

Regards ...... Howard

Will do, Howard.
I have a niggling feeling that I should be taking something down for someone - not in this thread and cannot see it in my PMs.
Maybe a non radio-related item?
Stand up and be recognised!

So, I think my list is now as follows:

Collecting:
Regentone and Variac (Jim Beacon)
Philips tape recorder (Howard)
PC AT (Paul Stenning)
test pattern generator (BRC3000)

I don't think I promised to bring anything other than some items for the bring and buy stall (which might be a good contact point for arranging transactions).
