Default Radar (TV Programme)

Part 2 of the Hidden History of Britain is repeated on Ch5 at the moment. It conflates the "discovery" of Radar with a search for a Flash Gordon Death Ray in the thirties [eg I recall a chap in Wales who claimed to have developed one!]. I was never too comfortable with that interpretation but Portillo presents well during a trip around the, often mysterious, Orford Ness area and it's definetely worth a watch!
