Default Bezel Original Colour

Hi Folks,

I have noticed on a couple of grams and radios that the bezels are a sortof light beige colour. Is this a result of age or were they always this colour?

Kind regards,
Ray

Early plastic, possibly urea based. Ages in sunlight hence the mottled appearance. Some later white plastics age in UV too, but they turn green!
A lot of these mouldings were painted gold, perhaps they knew!
