1970s Heathkit TV
Hi, as some of you may know, I'm looking for a 1970s TV. I found this set (See Attached) on eBay, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on it, such as is it colour or b/w? Are they simple sets to work on or complex?
The TV is a Heathkit GR9900 Thanks |

Black and white portable, mains/12V. See review in Practical Television March 1975 on American Radio History website.

Thank you, do you know how easy these are to work on should anything go wrong?
Thanks |

I don't know as I have not had experience of that set. A good knowledge of basic TV servicing and safety precautions in view of the high voltages involved would obviously
be necessary. |

A kit set would theoretically be easy to work on, but ymmv.

Thank you for your replies.
I'll keep it in the "Maybe" pile and keep on looking, to see if there are any better sets going. Thanks |
