Default Broken Needle/stylus on Hacker GP15

Hi, asking for a friend here.

The needle has broken on the stylus of his Hacker GP15 record player.

Can anyone advise what will need to be purchased to repair this? Had a look online and afraid to say I'm not sure what's required. Is it just a replacement needle required and if so, where is the best place to order one?

Here's a photo of the damaged piece

Can you see any markings on the side of the cartridge to tell us what one it is?

It looks a bit like a BSR SC12M to me, but best to check the sides of it for marking as has been said.

Regards

The stylus looks very much like an ST17 and the cartridge looks like an AF024 said one of the SC12 series.

The previous Posts have been an excellent response to your query. If you are only going to play stereo LPs and 45s, go for the LPS/LPS double tipped ST12 or ST15 option.
