Default Hallicrafters Sky Traveller Model S-29. Value?

Can anyone give me a rough idea of what type of price this model goes for.

Thanks, Ian.

Hi Ian, quite a scarce item I think. I've never seen one apart from the image at RadioMuseum. None sold recently on eBay (UK) but one sold on eBay (USA) for $112 see here

Cheers, Jerry

Thanks Jerry, spotted one today locally. Got in touch but had already sold.

I had a chance to buy an S29 and it's later model, the S-39 about 30 years ago. They were scarce, even at that time.
Production was curbed because of the war. The S39 seemed to be built for the US government and others as a moral receiver.
The schematic on the S-29 is available on the website, Nostalgia air.
Dave, trying hard to remember.
