Default I.D.this part (TV?)

I've just inherited some old TV parts and in one of the boxes were a number of these, they look like an encapulated inductor, quite heavy, read short circuit, high temp sleeving over the tails. Possibly from a TV psu section..any ideas?

They're marked 'E. DALLY'

It does look like an inductor of some form.

I'm not sure about "E.Dally" but there was a company called Daly who made capacitors.

I don't think they are in any way TV related. At a complete guess I would say they are some form of suppressor choke possibly from industrial equipment. John.

It looks like a input filter from a GEC 2232 from about 1978, I changed many of these under g/tee.
