For a serious mast (1700 feet), and serious climbing of maintenance guys, this takes a lot of beating

Isn't it handy that they have a suitable viewpoint for taking a nice dramatic picture of the mast up for sale?

Some nice transmitters for sale in that auction if anyone has the room!

I assume the picture would have been taken from a drone.

I was thinking of the tower beside it, taken by someone working on the antenna replacement.

"to be dismantled prior to collection". I can't think of any other way, ice build up excepted!

Might be a little tricky getting a quarter mile long low loader load round the bends......

I'm just thinking that the dismantling costs are likely to be a little higher than the mantling costs... That is, if you want to use the bits again...

I just think of the usual amateur radio silent key sale deal... free mast if you remove it.

It's about 1200' I think, 360m, so a quarter wave on about 202kHz

So not quite tall enough for '136'

Maybe with a capacity hat?
