Default Bespoke Philips BG400A and Innovations

This was noticed in a scrap Philips BG400a radio.

It looks original; it is a dial slider in the form of a bicycle spoke ( could this be classed as a bespoke Philips radio)?

Are there any other odd items taken from other pieces of machinery and used in old radios, would be interesting to know?

There are certainly some Meccano bits used in certain Ekcos, I believe.
