Revox C270
Hello all,
As a newbie to tape machines I was hoping to find some advice. I have inherited a Revox C270 which is in great condition. I’m hoping to be able to use it as part of my recording setup. At the moment I can only use it in repro mode and can’t switch over to record ready. There are other buttons that don’t function on the front panel. Transport works well. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Re: Revox C270
Have you got the READY buttons on whichever or both channels that you want to record on?

Re: Revox C270
The READY buttons won’t switch over, it’s like the machine is stuck in play mode. Do you know if there are any internal settings/switches that disable the record function?

Re: Revox C270
Switch 7 of 8 of the DIP switches on the control board inhibits record. If you aren't familiar with geography, download the operating manual from hifiengine.
