Default Want to repair a “Salisbury” model HC 4 vintage heater

“Salisbury” model HC 4
The Gramaphone Co. Ltd
MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN
230/250V . 2KW
Ser. Nº GLXXXXX
Colour: metallic bronze
Date of manufacture uncertain, but am guessing early 1950’s.

I would like to get this all original vintage heater back to working situation, and an acquaintance who is a long time member of this forum recommended me posting to this section.
The heater was working perfectly until I heard an audible popping noise, after which it just died. I was unable to find which component or components had failed, but suspect it was either a fuse or capacitor?
I’m looking for an electrical repair technician preferably somewhere near the Costa Blanca or Costa Calida region of Spain to have a look at this heater for me.
Alternatively, any parts lists or schematics would be a great help, as would any troubleshooting advice any of you with experience with these heaters might be able to offer .
Thank you.

David
