Default DC Voltmeter panel mount

Hi guys, thinking about modifying this DC voltmeter so it reacts to temperature instead of voltage via a little interface circuit and some adjustments to the meter its self i.e removing the series resistor so I don't have to generate such a high voltage!

Was just hoping to check that it's not some rare antique meter that I'm about to modify, does anyone recognise the makers stamp or any details on it?

Thanks
Charles
