Hi,

I picked up a set of 5 of these from the Wythall rally today and I am going to digitise them to CD's or MP3's. Being as these are dated 1967 I doubt anyone would be chasing copyright on them so would anyone like copes of the digitised lectures?

Does anyone have the slides that go with this series of LP's? I can scan them in to go with the CD's if someone can loan me a set.

Hi Courtney,

I did have one lecture set of slides but never did find the rest or the LPs so sold the slides on but not before I had scanned them and uploaded to a photo album.

If you manage to digitise the LPs I would love to have a copy of the MP3s

I have downlaoded all 27 of those Mike, Thank you for that, I will have to work out which one they are for. I am only on number 1 so far.

I have a set of the LP's, but the associated set of slides appears to have gone walkabout.

Not sure why I kept them as I have zero interest in TV's, but perhaps I am just a confirmed hoarder!

Hi Courtney.

In case you don't want the bother of sampling the records, I have had all 5 LPs cleaned and digitized into an uncompressed format (of course they can be converted to MP3 if required) and they're about as good as you'll ever hear them I think. If you'd like a DVD with all 10 tracks then I can certainly let you have them. I do have the slides somewhere but I forget where they are just now...

Well i tell you what, how about I use your uncompressed files and if you can find the slides I make 5 DVD's with the lectures synced to the slides? I have a professional film scanner that I did some BBC transparencies for Jeff a while back that came out excellently.

A few years back I created videos of all 5 sets, slides synced to the audio recordings that Mikey405 has. It was originally done for possible use on a BVWS video DVD, but to be honest I think they are aren't really suitable; the BVWS DVD's need to be a bit more general interest.

You have to bear in mind that some slides remain on-screen for more than 5 minutes at a time ! So it really is something only for those _really_ interested in colour TV workings.

Also, many of the slides aren't very good for a normal video DVD - the text on many of the circuit diagrams is just too small on standard definition video, really needs to be HD.
