Display shimmering at edges ( PM3375 Philips )
I am having an issue with my PM3375 scope.
The problem is that the trace in the centre section of the CRT is fine but towards the outside edges it sort of shimmies very quickly from side to side. Its the same in all modes including digital freeze mode. The menu text in digital mode is ok in the centre but " raggy" at the ends. All controls work normally. The effect is on all timebase speeds. This might be early signs of power supply problems. It’s about the right age to need a refurb. I’d check the power supply rails for noise.

Yes thats what I was thinking, need to get hold of a diagram, but hen's teeth would be easier to acquire
I do have other scopes so checking won't be a problem. |
