Default Uher 5000 reel to reel. Motor problem

I have a Uher 5000 which has a motor problem. It starts out at the right speed then slows down to finally stop completely. I suspect the motor run capacitor has died and have found a possible replacement with two terminals. The issue is that the circuit diagram shows two connections to the cap, but the one in the recorder has three terminals. Is one of these merely a terminal post for the wiring?

I also replaced the germanium AC115's which were crackling badly. Success on this count.

The machine is in beautiful condition having come from a university environment. It even has the original plastic cover and all documentation.

Any help on the cap connections?
