Post Bush AC1 1947 cabinet logo needed

Hi folks,

I recently bought a Bush AC1 radio and I've started to restore the radio cabinet. The original logo is present on the cabinet however I'm unfortunately going to have to lose it in order to re-finish the cabinet

Does anyone have the bush logo which I require? If you look up the radio on the web you will be able to see what type I need. It is simply the bush tree logo painted in gold with a black and red stripped plant pot, there is also some text which reads 'Bush Radio'. I only require a picture which I can download and print on some decal paper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards,
Dylan

It should be easy to mask off the logo with some tape forming a neat square while you complete your refinishing. It will at least leave the important part of the cabinet original. Just a thought. John.

Thanks John,

I was thinking of doing that myself however just wanted to check if there was anyone on the forum who possible had one sitting around. I must admit the logo is in pristine condition and it would be a great shame to replace it with a re-pro. Looks like I'm settling with getting the tape out!

Regards, Dylan

Hi Dylan, you will find one you can download and print here:

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=72753

I created it some time back as I required one for a Bush I refurbished.
Please read the whole posting for all details about printing it.

Thanks Dave,

Your a life saver! I found a couple on the web however the quality was simply not up to scratch. I thought I wasn't getting any further help with this so it was a pleasant surprise when I got your reply.

Regards,
Dylan
