Default T.V. Components but what are they?

The five distorted pictures hide five well known television components. See how many you recognize. Model numbers will be a bonus...Have fun. John.

Many a Friday morning, all components looked like this!
I think the valve must be a DF type judging by the number of pins.

It's got to be for a 1400 or 1500 looking at it Brian

#2 looks like it has a short tag at one end, that makes it a 1400 - the tags on a 1500 dropper are all the same length.

Is #1 a vibrator made by Plessey?

Blimey John, they're pretty mangled!
Apart from the last one, they all look like New Age jewellery to me!

You are all doing far too well. I obviously didn't mangle them enough!
Incredible! J.

#4 looks as though it could be a Mazda valve - say a 20P1! There's quite a lot of writing on it and several squares have parts of "Mazda" in them - or do they
Cheers

Brian I think your right about #4. It is a Masda valve, though I think I can see a "6" and a "F".
So maybe 6F??

Could be!

The wave ones aremuch more difficult. You need to find the wavelength, phase and amplitude, and centre it correctly!

Surely that's the top of the Mullard crest that we see above the F 8. But what is the 10 doing there? I think 10 is a distortion of the word Mullard from the L and A. My vote goes with Taz.

I wonder if 4 is the label from a CRT?

Peter

4. is really difficult, I have found the word 'pentone' so I agree this is a mullard. The distinct A is probably from MADE so that's no help at all. I think I can find a large 8 but it's a bit of a guess.

Really well done! Congratulations to everyone. The Visconol was very difficult but some clue letters could just about be seen on some of those mini squares.
Pictures attached. Regards, John.
